Dennis Acker is the current President and CEO of OpenAir Technologies, Inc, a leading provider of advanced technology communications solutions. He has been in the technology field for almost 2 decades; first entering the field in cellular communications and international business consulting, then moving on to artificial intelligence, and finally to the VoIP industry. Dennis is also acting President and an investor in IdeaIcarus, a Reston, Virginia-based communications service provider.
A true “serial entrepreneur”, Dennis is proud to catalog OpenAir Technologies as his 8th successful start-up company. These companies have ranged from a wetland reclamation organization to a Voice over IP firm.
In his spare time, Dennis enjoys domestic and international travel. Over the last 5 years, he has traveled to 6 of the world’s 7 continents. He also enjoys sailing, learning about the latest communications technologies, and volunteering for Reston Chamber of Commerce events.
