COMPANY EXPERIENCE
Kathy Cope joined Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers’ Property Management team as General Manager of Reston Town Center in December 2007. Kathy is responsible for coordination of Leasing, Marketing, Budgeting, Public and Community relations and day to day Property Management of the Mixed Use project at Reston Town Center, which includes 525,000 square feet in two office towers, 235,000 square feet of retail, a hotel and public/pavilion areas.
Prior to joining Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers, Kathy was the Senior Property Manager of Tysons Corner Center, a 2.3 million square foot complex consisting of one of the top ten malls in the country in size and quality and one 160,000 sq. ft. office tower. Before relocating to Tysons in 1997, Kathy was the Senior Vice President-Director of Office Buildings West, a portfolio of 4.5 million square feet in 26 commercial buildings, for L&B Realty Advisors, Inc. in Dallas, Texas.
Kathy is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. She was just recently elected to the Boards of the Reston Town Center Association and the Reston Town Center Urban Core Association.
She received a BBA in Accounting from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Kathy became a CPA in Texas in 1984, a Certified Shopping Center Manager in 1987 and a Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager in 2001.
