The first in a continuing series of thought provoking and energizing member events. “What Is Your Credit Card Doing Tonight: Out on the town or safe in your wallet?” Ray Scurr from SecureIT will regale us with true-life-stories of criminals, credit reports and crises avoidance. Nearly every business accepts credit cards, some store information, some transmit it over the web, some transmit it over telephone lines. All share one common ingredient – they are putting someone’s personal information at risk of discovery – and jeopardizing their own business in the process. Learn what data security standards apply to all businesses. Make sure you are doing enough to prevent unauthorized access of credit card data – and make sure everyone you deal with is doing the same. This breakfast is guaranteed to be an eye opener, even without the coffee!
