Bike to Work Day Employer Challenge

To participate in the Challenge, area employees should register at www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/register for the Friday, May 19 Bike to Work Day, listing their employer and work zip code. Registration is open until the day of the event. Reston and Herndon companies with five or more employees who register for Bike to Work Day 2023 will be named 2023 Bike to Work Day Employer Challenge winners.

Challenge-winning employers will then be honored by Hunter Mill District Supervisor Walter Alcorn at a ceremony held in the Hunter Mill District Office that will be shared with local media. Additionally, employees of the challenge-winning companies will be entered in a raffle in which two winners will have their choice of either a yearlong Capital Bikeshare membership ($120 value), or a yearlong membership in a secure bike parking room at a local Metro station ($75 value). DATA provides free materials and support to employers interested in learning more about Bike to Work Day and in taking the Bike to Work Day Challenge.
