Bite Me Cancer 5th Annual Wine Dinner
Our popular annual wine dinner (previously called our Cancerversary Dinner) brings people together for a fun evening with delicious food and wine while sharing experiences of living with cancer, celebrating those overcoming cancer, and focusing on Bite Me Cancer's mission to support and inspire teens with cancer.
Bite Me Cancer's founder, Nikki, was diagnosed in April 2010 with a rare form of thyroid cancer at age 17. At this 2018 dinner, we will celebrate her 8th cancerversary and also honor those in the room who are cancer survivors. This event will also spotlight the challenges of teenagers dealing with cancer. They "fall through the cracks" in the hospital systems, whether they are in a pediatric ward or an adult ward. Nikki developed the Teen Support Bag for these teenagers. Donations help to sustain and expand this bag program. We currently have over 90 hospitals in 39 states and DC distributing our bags to their teen patients. Nikki will share her thoughts from the podium. There will be a few other speakers who will also share their personal experiences with you.
If you would like to help but can't attend, you can purchase tickets to donate back to us that we will give to cancer survivors to attend for free. (Minimum age to attend is 21 years old.)
