Using social media – such as posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube, or posting content online through your own website – is almost now a necessity in running a business. Everyone uses it, and social media can be a powerful tool in promoting your products, services, or getting news about your organization out to the public. However, social media also brings risks that can compromise your organization. Because social media is powerful, mistakes can have very significant consequences.
