Demystifying Federal Contract Codes
Join us for this special edition of Coffee & Contracting presented by Go-To-Guy Timberlake!
Imagine learning you were wrong. Okay, not actually you, but the information you had come to rely on for making decisions. What if the understanding you had developed of “how things worked” was flawed? This session is about flawed information and beliefs that limit the ability of people and companies in federal contracting from achieving clarity. This limitation unnecessarily adds time and money to processes leveraged by companies throughout federal contracting, and prevents them from seeing a clear and truthful picture about opportunities.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Guy Timberlake
Go-To-Guy Timberlake brings over 30 years of federal sector experience, knowledge and relationships to every client, cohort, and community engagement. He’s developed his acumen while supporting civilian, defense, and intelligence agency programs, starting with Operation Desert Shield. He is chief executive visionary and co-founder of the community known as The American Small Business Coalition , and he’s referred to as “Professor” and ‘Edutainer’ for his ability to make mundane discussions about business essential topics interesting and practical. Guy is also the creator of Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors®, the curriculum and philosophy that has guided hundreds of small and large companies to successfully find and win federal contracts and subcontracts valued at more than $5 billion in realized revenues since 2010.
He earned the call sign “Go-To-Guy” in the early 1990’s while supporting operational and mission requirements of U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy aviation activities located around the world. Because the Buyers and Customers from these organizations found him dependable and responsive, they would tell their colleagues to ‘go to Guy to ensure the job is done right.’
Coffee & Contracting is a bi-monthly informal networking breakfast with an educational program for government contractors that is presented by the Reston Chamber's GovCon Council.
