Innovation that Sticks: Accelerating Culture Change in Contracting and the Workforce
Innovation in Federal acquisition has been a major theme for the past several presidential administrations. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated some of these trends in the best possible way as agencies worked furiously to get companies rapidly under contract to deliver capabilities when and where they were needed most. As industry and government work to establish post-lockdown means of operations, how does the government contracting community accelerate culture change to ensure that innovative practices stick? This year’s GMU-DAU Government Contracting Conference will explore this important question through a series of policy- and practically-focused panel discussions including key decisionmakers and stakeholders from government, industry, and academia. Join us on November 3 to discuss -- Strategies to create a culture of innovation -- Embracing new and old innovative contracting authorities -- Recruiting, training, and retaining an innovative workforce This annual conference facilitates dialogue across all levels of the government contracting community as well as promotes solutions through legislative, policy, and regulatory changes.
