The Corporate Role in the 2020 Census
In the next few months the 2020 Census will be conducted - a topic that has garnered much press over the last year. Our next CSR Roundtable will take an apolitical look at why the 2020 Census matters and how an undercount could affect your business interests. There’s much apprehension an undercount will occur with the Census being online for the first time. For each resident who doesn’t respond to the Census, Fairfax County loses $20,000 in potential funding over the course of a decade. Come learn from our expert panelists why business should care about the Census and how you can take a role in mitigating an undercount.
Our panel includes:
- Katie Strotman, Community Impact Unit Manager, County of Fairfax; Fairfax County Complete Count Committee
- Kerrie Wilson, CEO, Cornerstones; Chair, Partnerships Subcommittee, Fairfax County Complete Count Committee
- Bernard Mustafa, General Manager, PVBS; Co-Chair, Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s Count the Region Initiative
The CSR Roundtable is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 8:30-10:00 am hosted by Apple Federal Credit Union, 4097 Monument Corner Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
