She has been in her current role as Co-Founder and Vice President at TRAINING SOLUTIONS, Inc. since 1999. The company provides in-person and online training services to help employees increase their job productivity. Sharon has been married 41 years to Michael Ferraro and they have one child - Nikki - who is 31. Nikki was diagnosed with a rare form of thyroid cancer at age 17 in 2010. She still has cancer and takes oral chemo pills every day. She "forced" her parents to help her start the Bite Me Cancer Foundation. Since September 2010, the foundation has supported teenagers with all cancers and also has directly funded thyroid cancer research grants. (Oct. 18 is the 10th annual wine dinner fundraiser.).
