    About Us

Recovery Program Solutions of Virginia (RPSV) has addressed the unmet needs of adults with Mental Health challenges, Substance Use Disorders, and Homelessness issues through a myriad of Recovery programs and services since 2011.

RPSV’s programs maximize participant self-determination; promote access to treatment; and focus on decreasing dependence on psychiatric hospitalizations. RPSV's programs are free to the public.

RPSV proudly serves the Northern Virginia Region, with program sites in Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Merrifield, and Reston.

RPSV serves ~9,000 individuals across the region annually. RPSV serves adults, ages 18+. Its oldest participant is 84. Roughly 35% of those we serve are veterans. Our programs are truly life-sustaining/life-altering.

As a peer-run organization, all our employees bring a breadth and depth of knowledge acquired through our own lived experience with Mental Health challenges and Substance Use disorders. This experience allows us to provide support and guidance to our peers from a place of empathy and understanding.

RPSV's services include one-on-one and group peer support, with a focus on mindfulness, meditation, anger management, dealing with depression, employment support, housing assistance and much more…making Recovery possible!
