- General FAR information, such as how long it takes cases to publish rules,
- The impact of current cases on the industry, government, or both; and
- How the acquisition community is benefiting
Ms. Kenely will also cover how to work with NASA.
Additionally, Chireda Gaither, Associate Director of the Small Business Program at Leidos, will provide best practices and tips on how to prepare for matchmaking meetings with Primes.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
Dorice Kenely, Senior Procurement Analyst, NASA
Dorice has over 17 years of experience in Federal Government acquisitions as a Contract Specialist, Grants Officer, Contracting Officer and Procurement Analyst. Dorice worked with the Administrative Office of US Courts, Department of State, the Department of Navy’s Office of Naval Research, and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration before joining NASA.
Chireda Gaither, Associate Director, Small Business Program, Leidos
Chireda is responsible for leading Small Business outreach activities that support the cultivation of a network of Small Businesses that augment Leidos’ capabilities and create opportunities for Small Businesses to partner with Leidos. Other primary responsibilities include working with Leidos’ business development, subcontracts and strategic sourcing teams to build and maintain a network of preferred Small Business suppliers, promoting and sustaining Mentor/ Protégé relationships between Leidos’ program teams and Leidos’ Small Business network, overseeing Leidos’ compliance with the FAR’s Small Business Subcontracting Plan requirements and cultivating positive relationships with federal agencies who promote Small Business participation.
