2026 Valor Awards HEADER

48th Annual Fairfax County Valor Awards

The Fairfax County Valor Awards recognize the remarkable achievements in service of our community's dedicated first responders. Since 1979, members of our police, sheriff, public safety communications and fire & rescue have been honored for exceeding the call of duty with their lifesaving acts. The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this prestigious event.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the 48th Annual Fairfax County Valor Awards at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston Town Center.

Congratulations to all our 2026 Valor Award Receipients!

Our 2026 Master of Ceremony

Joseph Olmo - Valor 2025

Joseph Olmo is a reporter for NBC Washington. Every morning, on News4 TODAY, he helps viewers start their day with headlines from across the DMV.

Often times, Olmo reports from the same scenes our heroic first responders show up to. Every day, he sees the bravery and selflessness it takes from the public safety professionals to confront very complex & dangerous situations.

He's honored to be part of the Fairfax County Valor Awards as we highlight those in our community who always answer the call when help is needed.
