    GRCC Appoints Two New Board of Directors for 2023

    The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) announces the recent appointments of the following business leaders in the greater Reston area to its Board of Directors:
     

    1. Mr. Mac Cummins, Chief Executive Officer, Reston Association.  Appointed January 2023.
    2. Mr. Jake Mages, Vice President of Sales, Guernsey, Inc.  Appointed January 2023.
     
    “We welcome Jake Mages and are delighted to have Guernsey remain on the board,” says Kevin Taylor, chairman of the board. “They have been a huge supporter of the Chamber for many years. We also welcome Mac Cummins, from the Reston Association. As one of the largest homeowner associations on the planet, our connection with RA is essential to keeping in touch with the community.”
     
    Mr. Jake Mages has been a resident of northern Virginia since 1996. Entering his 20th year at Guernsey Inc., Jake is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales. In his spare time, Jake serves on the board for Friends of Homeless Animals, a local animal shelter and is an avid Xbox enthusiast.
     
    Mr. Mac Cummins brings a wealth of professional experience spanning more than 20 years of municipal government service, including most recently as the Director of Community Development Department of the City of Bellevue, WA. Prior to working for the City of Bellevue for more than five years, Cummins served as a Planning Manager for the city of Westminster, CO and as the principal planner in Scottsdale, AZ. Cummins earned master’s degrees from the University of Southern California in public administration and city/urban, community and regional planning. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in public policy and management, with honors, from USC.
